Regular readers will know Lord Ganesh is my ishtadev. I collect his statues whenever I see something different or unique and I have been collecting for decades now. My family also will buy statues when they see a different one and over the years, I’ve managed to fill up a cupboard full.

This year, I will showcase some of the statues. Here’s the first batch.

Various folk cultures and traditions assign symbolic meanings to plants and this can be seen through the ages across Asia and Europe. As I was browsing through my photos, I realised I had some photos of flowers which was perfect for the occasion. As we wind down 2022 and start to think about the new year, let the beauty and perfection of the flowers bring joy and happiness to your lives.

Now that things are more or less back to normal, we’re all excited to travel again. A trip we are all looking forward to is our India trip sometime next year before BB enlists for his National Service and GG starts university.
