We are done with one week in Mumbai and so far it’s been a week of eating and sleeping. I think we finally got used to the time change.
It’s super hot in Mumbai and coupled with the noise that’s India, this does take some getting used to.
We have plans for next week which include more eating and also some shopping and sightseeing for the children.

Hola from Mumbai! We are now in Mumbai for our holiday and the past few days have been great!
Though I’ve been waking up at ungodly hours and wanting to sleep early, it’s been wonderful just being here.
I am going to use all my research and curate a holiday for BB & GG. We are going to spend time eating, shopping and meeting family & friends.

Though our holiday only starts at the end of next week, we are already in holiday mode!
S left for India for his Sabarimala pilgrimage over the weekend and the children and I are making the most of this week before we too fly off.
We visited the Singapore Bicentennial Experience, which was a super show! If you are reading this based out of Singapore, please do go and visit it. This multimedia sensory experience brings you back in time to witness key moments in Singapore’s transformation from as far back as 1299. As I understand, tickets are still available for December and the experience at Fort Canning Park is scheduled to close on 31 December. I’ll try and do a more detailed post on this later.
We also went shopping and it was a great day to spend with the children. I want to do one-on-one dates with them in the new year.
Last week I also wrapped up my work commitments and I am a real free bird this week which I want to use to finish packing, clearing the house and also work a bit on my blog.

This was such a hectic week that I am hurting all over.
I had an event which was supposed to end around 8:30 pm and at 10 pm there were still some guests in the room refusing to leave. We managed to get them to leave and then left the place.
The O levels are winding down and we are all getting into holiday mode. S leaves for his pilgrimage at the end of the week so we are also packing for his trip this week.
This week will be a more chill week and then it’s party time!

There’s not much to update this week. We have been quite busy with the O level exams and since last week was what the students called ‘Hell Week’, my whole focus was in the children and the exams.
The past few weeks have been quite busy, what with exams and then work which is also peaking this week and next before I can take a breather before our holidays.
There was and is a continuing some family drama happening in S’ family involving two brothers, one of whom, I think, has such a huge ego!
Anyway, have a great week and we are counting down to the last two week of the exams.
